Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez will face off for the third time in their careers on November 12, 2011, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.
Their first two meetings were both highly controversial and the results could have gone either way.
At their first fight in May 2004, Pacquiao knocked down Marquez three times in the first round but the Mexican showed heart and Mexican “never-quit” attitude by coming to his senses and salvaging a draw.
In their rematch almost four years later in March 2007, Pacquiao again put Marquez to the canvas in the third round but again, Marquez managed to stay calm, counter-punching in a split-decision loss.
Based on the poll at this site, many readers feel that Pacquiao will finally put the controversy to rest at their third fight with a resounding 65% voting that Pacman will knock out “The Last Mexican Standing.” That’s 1,675 votes out of 2,559 total cast.
