In a professional boxing career spanning more than 14 years since his first fight in 1996, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. has proven himself one of the best fighters ever becoming world champion in five weight divisions: Super Featherweight, Lightweight, Light Welterweight, Welterweight and Super Welterweight.
He is undefeated as a professional boxer and considered by many to be the greatest defensive fighter ever utilizing the “shoulder roll” to ward off his opponent’s attacks.
He had classic battles with some of boxing’s finest with the likes of Oscar De La Hoya, Shane Mosley, Juan Manuel Márquez, Ricky Hatton, Carlos Baldomir, Zab Judah, Arturo Gatti, José Luis Castillo and Diego Corrales.
