Part two of the Cotto vs Margarito 24/7 HBO special aimed to promote the Miguel Cotto vs Antonio Margarito rematch continues today.
In this final episode, more focus is given to Margarito’s eye – which was severely injured after his beating to Manny Pacquiao in their November 2010 fight. Margarito was taken to the hospital directly after the fight where it was discovered that his right orbital bone had been fractured. Surgery had to be postponed to three days later as his face was too swollen to operate on.

“I don’t feel any respect for him, you know? And I’m going to take advantage of his eye like he took advantage of the plaster,” Cotto on Margarito’s alleged use of illegal handwraps that resulted in an eleventh round technical knockout victory for Margarito in their July 2008 battle.
